Jerry Ng is a highly respected coach and former Kedah State Player, bringing over 15 years of coaching experience to AZE Badminton Academy. He has served as the Head Coach at Victoria School, where he played a pivotal role in developing young talents. As a BWF Certified Coach, Jerry upholds the highest training standards recognized internationally.
Jerry’s coaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive and engaging environment where players can thrive. He emphasizes skill development and strategic play, ensuring that each student, whether a beginner or advanced, receives personalized attention to reach their full potential.

Coach's background
Ang Chia Yu is a dedicated and accomplished coach at AZE Badminton Academy, bringing over 10 years of coaching experience to our team. As a former champion, he has an impressive competitive background, having won the Men’s Doubles title at the Serdang (KL) Tournament in 2023 and the Men’s Doubles U21 championship at the Mersing (Johor) Open in 2016.
Chia Yu also showcased his talent on an international stage as a semi-finalist in the Boys’ Doubles U18 category at the Chengdu (China) World Chinese Junior Championship in 2015. His extensive experience as a player informs his coaching style, allowing him to effectively mentor and develop our students.
Chia Yu is passionate about fostering a love for the game while focusing on skill development, teamwork, and strategic play, ensuring each player reaches their highest potential.

Ng Jia Jun is a dynamic coach at AZE Badminton Academy and an active competitive player. His impressive achievements in 2023 include being crowned the Men’s Doubles Champion at the SkyWorth, CSC, and Just In Sport tournaments, alongside numerous mixed doubles titles at events like Alpha and Papago.
In addition to his competitive success, Jia Jun has made a significant impact as a coach by grooming two of his students, Tan Jia Hui and Tan Qian Hang, into the Singapore National Training Squad. This accomplishment highlights his dedication to developing young talent and preparing them for elite competition.
Jia Jun’s extensive experience in high-stakes tournaments allows him to impart valuable insights to his students, motivating them to excel while fostering a passion for badminton. His coaching approach combines skill refinement with strategic thinking, ensuring that each player is well-equipped for challenges on and off the court.

Lai Wei Chung is an accomplished coach at AZE Badminton Academy, known for his competitive spirit and dedication to the sport. He has achieved notable success in various tournaments, including being the Men’s Doubles Champion at the HAIER Johor State Challenge 2023 and the Pontian Badminton Open Men’s Doubles Champion in 2023.
In addition to his championship titles, Wei Chung was the runner-up at the Horizon Men’s Doubles 2023 and the Chuan Yang Ji Cup in Singapore the same year. He also claimed victory at the HAIER Grand Final Challenge 2023 in the Men’s Doubles category and finished as the runner-up at the Just In Sport 2023.
With his extensive experience in competitive badminton, Wei Chung brings valuable insights and strategies to his coaching. He is committed to helping players enhance their skills and achieve their goals while fostering a passion for the game.

Goh Jia Le is the Head Coach at AZE Badminton Academy in Johor Bahru, bringing a wealth of experience as a former Johor Bahru State Player. His competitive journey showcases numerous achievements, including a commendable performance at the Majlis Sukan Sekolah Malaysia in 2021.
In 2017, Jia Le was the 1st Runner-Up in the National Junior Circuit B and excelled at the 100 Plus National Junior Circuit Grand Prix Final. His international success includes being the Boys Doubles Champion at the International Junior Championship in 2019.
Jia Le has also made his mark in various other tournaments, clinching the championship title at the Papago Doubles Open in 2022, and securing 2nd Runner-Up in the Junior Purple League 2021 and the Mixed Doubles Open at Papago in 2023.
As a coach, Jia Le is committed to fostering talent and enhancing players’ skills through effective training methods and a supportive environment, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.
